Gas Solenoid Valves N.C. up to 2”
The solenoid valves are PED certified (CE 0496 and CE 0497) and are designed to be installed on the gas supply pipe, connected to a leak detection system.
They shut off the gas supply in case of danger signaled by a detector or a control device installed in the controlled environment.
All solenoid valves are manually reset, in compliance with the CEI UNI EN 50194 standard for gas detection systems.
They are made of brass, available from ½" to 2", and provide a simple, reliable, and safe operation.
To prevent accidental closures due to micro interruptions in the power supply, the normally closed (N.F.) manually reset 230V~ solenoid valves are equipped with a power supply that ignores brief power interruptions (< 30 ms).
The N.F. solenoid valve, being constantly powered during the opening phase, will only close in case of power failure, either as a result of a command issued by the detector or in the case of a power interruption.
This mechanism ensures a higher level of safety compared to normally open (N.O.) solenoid valves, as it guarantees closure even in case of power failure – a positive safety feature.
The solenoid valve is normally positioned after a filter, outside the environment it is meant to protect, and upstream of the regulation components.
It must be installed with the arrow engraved on the body pointing towards the usage.
The reset is manual, done by axially pushing upwards the plunger using the button, after unscrewing the threaded lower part. It is important to screw the part back after resetting.
